How Canisius UI collects, uses, and protects information on this website.
Canisius UI is a one-person design studio. This website does not use advertising, does not track users across sites, and does not build user profiles. The only data collected is what you voluntarily submit through the contact form, and the anonymous aggregate statistics generated by Plausible Analytics.
This Privacy Policy explains exactly what is collected, why, and what your rights are under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
When you submit the contact form, the following information is collected:

Standard server logs are automatically generated by Netlify's hosting infrastructure. These may include your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. This logging is handled entirely by Netlify — Canisius UI does not access or analyze server logs separately.
Netlify's own Privacy Policy governs how this infrastructure data is processed.
This website uses Plausible Analytics to understand overall traffic — which pages are visited and approximately where visitors come from. Plausible is built around privacy by design:
The data produced is aggregated and anonymous. Individual visitors cannot be identified. Plausible is GDPR-compliant by design and requires no cookie banner.
This website loads the Inter typeface from the Google Fonts CDN (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). When your browser requests a font file, it connects directly to Google's servers.
This means your IP address is transmitted to Google as a side effect of loading the page. This is used solely for displaying the website using the correct typeface and is not connected to advertising or tracking in any way.

Contact form submissions are retained only for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain legitimate business communication. If you would like your data removed, email hello@canisius-ui.com and it will be deleted promptly.
Plausible Analytics data is fully anonymized and contains no personal information. No personal retention period applies.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@canisius-ui.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hungarian supervisory authority: Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH) — naih.hu.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the website's functionality changes — for example, if new third-party services are added. The version number and last-updated date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
